A total of 17 passengers were injured in a road accident on Gomi Mountain. All of them are Belarusian citizens. The injured were taken to clinics in Batumi and Chokhatauri, although some have already been discharged.
The accident occurred late at night when a minibus carrying Belarusian tourists fell into a ravine, killing four passengers. The Georgian driver jumped out of the vehicle and was not seriously injured.
Interpressnews reports that an investigation into the incident is underway.
