The Ministry of Internal Affairs said officers of the Gardabani District Division of the Kvemo Kartli Police Department have arrested a wanted individual for fraudulently obtaining a large amount of money.
The investigation established that in 2025, the suspect fraudulently acquired real estate belonging to a citizen, valued at GEL 2.741 million.
The suspect had been wanted based on a ruling by the Rustavi City Court and had been remanded in absentia.
Law enforcement officers arrested the wanted individual following investigative measures near Tbilisi International Airport.
The detainee has now been transferred to a penitentiary facility.
