US President Donald Trump has warned that Iran has “two or three days” to reach an agreement to end the war or face renewed military attacks.
Speaking on the ongoing tensions, Trump said Tehran had only a limited window to strike a deal, warning that failure to do so could result in fresh strikes against Iran.
In response, an Iranian official said any potential US military assault would be met “resolutely,” stressing that Iran was prepared to confront “any military aggression.”
Meanwhile, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian reiterated Tehran’s position on negotiations with Washington, saying that “dialogue does not mean surrender.”
Pezeshkian claimed that Iran entered talks with the United States “with dignity, authority, and the preservation of the nation’s rights,” signaling that Tehran would continue to resist pressure while remaining engaged in diplomatic efforts.
At the same time, international condemnation has intensified following reports that Israeli forces once again intercepted vessels participating in a Gaza-bound aid flotilla.
Reportedly, approximately 47 boats were seized in international waters, while hundreds of activists aboard the flotilla were allegedly detained. The reported interceptions have sparked criticism from various quarters amid ongoing concerns over humanitarian access to Gaza.
