Tikaradze: ‘Priority will be Given to Essential Groups for which Pfizer Vaccine is Important’

Health Minister Ekaterine Tikaradze

The Minister of Health of Georgia, Ekaterine Tikaradze, announced on Rustavi 2 TV, that the priority for the Pfizer vaccine will be the groups that need it most.

“Priorities will be given to the essential groups for which the Pfizer vaccine is important. the Ministry of Health will assist these essential groups to receive the doses intended for them,” the Minister said.

Tikaradze also called on those who have severe chronic diseases to apply in writing to the Ministry of Health for a vaccination with the Pfizer vaccine.

“I would like to call on the citizens who have severe chronic diseases and are entitled to vaccination with Pfizer: send a written request and the ministry will discuss it with the commission, after which they will be able to receive doses of this vaccine before the arrival of a large number of Pfizer,” Tikaradze said.
