The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia has announced that Georgia will be one of the topics to be discussed at the NATO summit in Brussels today, June 14.
The Ministry notes that it is important that the issue of Georgia be included in the part of the Summit agenda that supports the rule-based international order.
“The final document – the communiqué will be adopted at the Brussels summit. The Georgian side expects that the communiqué will adequately reflect Georgia’s progress on Euro – Atlantic integration, reaffirm NATO’s support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and focus on the occupied territories and the current humanitarian and security environment,” the statement reads.
