The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has appealed to the European Union to let Ukraine become part of the Union in an expedited manner.
“We appeal to the European Union through a new special procedure for Ukraine’s immediate accession. We are grateful to the partners that they stand by us, however, our goal is to be with all Europeans. I am sure we all deserve it,” Zelensky said.
He noted that when he was a candidate for the presidency, he said that every Ukrainian is a president, because everyone is accountable to the country. “Now it so happened that each of us is a warrior. I am sure each of us will win. Glory to Ukraine,” Zelensky said.
