“Wizz Air” to consider adding new routes from Kutaisi International Airport to European routes, reported the Ministry of Economy of Georgia.
Mariam Kvrivishvili, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development met with the representatives of the top management of the Hungarian airline Wizz Air, who are paying a two-day visit to Georgia at the invitation of the Georgian side.
During the visit, the representatives of Wizz Air visited the renovated Kutaisi International Airport, as well as looked through the ongoing construction process of the railway station near the Kutaisi International Airport, which is going to be completed very soon.
“We discussed the addition of new routes from Kutaisi International Airport to Europe,” stated Mariam Kvrivishvili, she added it will have a very positive impact on the growth of tourism in our country.
