Tbilisi once again became the center of the regional technology ecosystem as it hosted the second edition of Global Tech Weekend Tbilisi 2026 (GTWT) on June 19–21.
Over the course of three days, Georgia’s capital brought together technology leaders, investors, entrepreneurs, innovators, and industry professionals from across the Caucasus and Central Asia, reaffirming its growing role as a regional hub for innovation and digital transformation.
As the leading supporter of the event, TBC, recognized as one of the most innovative banks in Central and Eastern Europe, played a key role in shaping the conversation around technology and innovation. Representatives of TBC Tech shared insights into how the company fosters innovation, develops cutting-edge digital products, and builds a technology-driven culture.
TBC speakers took the stage throughout the event to discuss a wide range of topics, including innovation management, the impact of design on business performance, data-driven decision-making, and the opportunities TBC creates for its partners and the broader technology ecosystem.
Among the TBC speakers were Archil Vardidze, Chief Design Officer; Giorgi Kintsurashvili, Ecosystem Innovation Lead; Guga Burduli, Digital Analytics Lead; and Alexander Shapatava, Agile Coach.
The main GTWT conference took place on June 20 at Factory Tbilisi, featuring discussions on some of the most relevant topics shaping the future of technology, including artificial intelligence, fintech, Web3, product development, design, gaming, and urban innovation.
