“Talks will continue with the opposition and with the ruling party in order to find ways out of the current situation,” US Ambassador to Georgia Kelly Degnan stated after meeting with opposition parties yesterday.
“We had a very important and useful meeting,” she said. “We will continue to work with all parties.”
The meeting between the opposition and the diplomatic corps lasted almost two hours at the EU Ambassador’s residence.
Members of opposition parties who participated in the meeting noted that the Western partners are extremely concerned due to the current political crisis in the country.
