Ukrainian Special Operations Forces, with the help of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Missile Forces, and Artillery, have destroyed four Russian helicopters in the Belgorod region of Russia, having targeted two Ka-52 attack helicopters and two Mi-8 transport helicopters.
Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces pointed out the attack’s significance in a statement following the strike, saying, “The enemy once again believed they were untouchable deep in their territory. We have proven yet again that nothing is beyond the reach of our Special Operations Forces. We will continue our work.”
The strike emphasized Ukraine’s growing capabilities to conduct operations outside of its borders, directly combating Russia’s military assets.
