Today, Ambassador of Georgia to the UK Sophie Katsarava MBE held a meeting with the Director of International Engagement at British Museum, Nadja Race.
As part of the visit, a private viewing was organized for the Ambassador to see the unique Georgian royal cross belonging to King George XI (late 17th century). The cross is a unique masterpiece of medieval Georgian jewelry craftsmanship.
During the meeting parties discussed prospects to enhance cultural ties and implement joint projects.
