The Tbilisi Police Department’s Old Tbilisi Main Division officers have arrested two people, including one minor, on charges of robbery committed with violence by a group acting by prior agreement, the Interior Ministry said.
The investigation established that the suspects physically assaulted two citizens in Tbilisi, stole their expensive mobile phones, and fled the scene.
Following operational and investigative measures, law enforcement officers arrested the alleged offenders.
The investigation is being conducted under Article 178 of the Criminal Code, which carries a sentence of up to eight years in prison.
