The parties also discussed the importance of holding the 57th annual meeting of ADB in Georgia on May 2-5 this year.
“Delighted to welcome Georgia’s Minister of Finance Lasha Khutsishvili to @ADB_HQ.
Just six weeks out from ADB’s Annual Meeting in Tbilisi, I thanked him for the excellent preparations and planning that has gone into the event. This is the first time that Georgia has hosted the event since it joined ADB in 2007. I believe it will be a huge success.
We also discussed the approval this week of a new five-year country partnership strategy that builds on our strong foundations as one of Georgia’s largest development partners. We are proud to support this vibrant nation’s transition to a green and inclusive regional gateway between Asia and Europe, and the rest of the world,” noted the President of ADB, Masatsugu.
