The American life of the successful Georgian blogger and influencer Sofia Tsaava

These days, organizations and brands are less likely to use traditional means of marketing and public relations to influence people. Worldwide changes in communication have been caused by the creation and development of the digital world, social networks, and new media. The world has changed, and with it the forms of communication. The word “influencing” became relevant as a communication opportunity between a brand and the target audience. We meet Sofia Tsaava, a Georgian blogger and influencer living in the USA, who has tens of thousands of subscribers and enjoys great popularity and trust in society.

“I’ve been living in the USA for seven years. Of course, nothing can replace Georgia for me, but to be honest, I quickly fell in love with the US. I’m a blogger and influencer, and spend most of my time on this enjoyable activity,” she tells us.

When did you get interested in blogging? Who or what is your source of inspiration?

I created my own blog years ago. At first, I couldn’t devote much time to it, as a newcomer. Family, work – I had little time left. Since my routine has settled, my blog has gradually become more active.

I really like to take photos, go shopping. After I shared some photos with my followers and received positive feedback from them, I was motivated to be even more active. The number of followers is up, the comments of positive content is growing, and I am very happy.

What is your life like on and behind the screen?

Honestly, it’s not that different. I don’t have to “act” much because I really am this way. I can take several photos a day and change clothes even more times.

I have many other interests, but all my passions are more related to art. I also enjoy the fact that I’m often asked for advice on certain brands and clothes.

What is the key niche that makes you special?
Every person is unique, with their own niche and individuality. Of course, I stand out from others, but I try to refrain from self-evaluation. I fully entrust this matter to my subscribers.

What is your daily routine? What path does a post take before being shared with the people?

My day starts very energetically with a video call with my team members. We plan the shooting and discuss all the details. Then I go to exercise, because stimulating activities like this give me the greatest boost.

What is American life like and do you plan to come home?

I have never lost contact with Georgia. I come once or twice every year. It’s a kind of therapy for me, seeing family and friends and walking around my town. This is what fills me up and gives me energy. Without it, my work in America couldn’t be so fruitful. American life is amazing: Each day is completely different from the next. America is a land of opportunity and adventure, diverse and very interesting.

I will end the conversation with wishes: It has become my dream to make this field as popular and appreciated in Georgia as it is in America. This country gives you many chances in life to create something. Do you know what the main thing is? You can do what you want in Georgia, but you won’t be able to live on it: Your hobby will not bring you the desired income. And here, everything is different. I have a great desire for my country to be successful in this regard, and for people to be able to find employment in the fields that they chose as a profession.

I wish my country peace, and people success and great joy in all spheres of life!
