TBC Concept continues to create unique cultural experiences that bring together music, art and Georgian identity. As part of this commitment, TBC Concept is presenting the Jazz & Wine Kakheti Festival, which will be hosted by Tsinandali Estate on October 10 for the tenth time.
The festival’s diverse programme will give music lovers the opportunity to enjoy performances by international artists, discover Georgian wines and spend an unforgettable day in the unique setting of Kakheti. This year, more than 40 Georgian wine producers will take part in the festival, while the musical programme will feature acclaimed artists from the international stage.
14:00 & 16:00 | Sugarpie & The Candymen
The Amphitheatre stage will welcome Italian band Sugarpie & The Candymen, known for their energetic blend of jazz, swing, blues, soul and rock ’n’ roll. The band puts a fresh jazz spin on well-known hits, bringing them to life with a distinctive sound.
Guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine prepared by Italian chef Maurizio Siciliano, who will be serving traditional dishes throughout the festival.
19:00 | Fred Wesley Generations
The audience will then be treated to a performance by Fred Wesley Generations, a project celebrating the legendary legacy of funk and jazz. The project is rooted in the musical heritage of Fred Wesley, one of the most influential figures in American funk and jazz, renowned as a trombonist and composer.
Wesley is particularly known for his work with James Brown and The J.B.’s, where his distinctive trombone playing and arrangements played a major role in shaping the classic sound of funk.
21:00 | SOUL TRAIN – JJ’s Hausband feat. Reggie Saunders
The evening will continue on the Amphitheatre stage with SOUL TRAIN – JJ’s Hausband feat. Reggie Saunders, bringing audiences the energy and spirit of the golden era of soul, funk and Motown.
