TBC Group has announced updates to its management team as part of its strategic goal to drive further growth across international markets and Georgia, while continuing to deliver the best possible customer experience. In line with this strategy, the following leadership changes have been implemented:

Vakhtang Butskhrikidze
Vakhtang Butskhrikidze, CEO of TBC Group and TBC Bank Georgia, will continue in his role as CEO of TBC Group, with a focus on the Group’s strategic development across Georgia, Uzbekistan, and international markets.

Giorgi Tkhelidze
Giorgi Tkhelidze will assume the position of CEO of TBC Bank Georgia (subject to regulatory approval). He joined TBC Bank in 2014 as Chief Risk Officer and, since 2016, has served as Head of Corporate, Investment Banking, and Wealth Management.

Giorgi has more than 25 years of experience in international financial services. Prior to joining TBC, he worked at Barclays Investment Bank in the United Kingdom, where he held the position of Vice President within the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) covering Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). Earlier in his career in Georgia, Giorgi served as CEO of leading insurance company Aldagi.

Giorgi is a graduate of the Stanford Executive Program (SEP). He holds an MBA from London Business School (LBS), an LLM in International Commercial Law from the University of Nottingham, and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.

Tornike Gogichaishvili
Tornike Gogichaishvili, Director of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) and Affluent Segments at TBC Bank, is stepping down after eight successful years with the company and will continue his professional career outside TBC.

These changes will come into effect on March 1, 2026.
