The police arrested several people at a protest rally in Temka district in Tbilisi, near a police building.
The protesters say they came to the scene to protest the actions of the police, thereby expressing disobedience to the authorities and solidarity with the detainees. The protesters wore masks, during which a confrontation occurred between them and the police.
“We were standing here, we were addressing them, they came and started abusing us, they forcibly took six people away,” said one of the protesters.
The number of detainees is being established.
