The Russian Ministry of Health denies the death of Vladimir Zhirinovsky, leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia.
“Zhirinovsky’s condition is assessed as stable, doctors continue to provide all possible medical assistance in this situation,” the ministry stated.
“He is alive. His condition is serious. Today, he underwent computed tomography. We worry about it, the doctors are fighting. He himself is very brave. We wish him a fast recovery,” said Russian State Duma speaker Vyacheslav Volodin.
On March 25, it was reported that Vladimir Zhirinovsky had passed away.
The 75-year-old politician had been hospitalized since February with a diagnosis of coronavirus.
