“Radisson Blu Iveria Tbilisi” and “Republica” Have a New General Manager

Radisson Blu Iveria Tbilisi hotel and multifunctional center Republica welcomed a new head this week – lia Saganelidze.

Ilia Saganelidze joined “Silk Road Group” in 2009, and has 20 years of experience in the hotel and restaurant business. For the last two years, Ilia held the position of general manager of Radisson Blu Batumi, and before that, general manager of Park Hotel Tsinandali.

“Silk Road Group made a big contribution to my successful career because it constantly took care of my professional growth, gave me new opportunities, set me new challenges, and, most importantly, appreciated my hard work and determination. Perhaps it is due to this that I have the same approach towards my team members – I try to allow all of them to fully reveal their potential,” he says.

“Hotel Radisson Blu Iveria is a symbol of Tbilisi, working with this team is a great honor and responsibility for me,” Saganelidze adds. “This hotel has brought several international prestigious awards and recognition to the country. The Republic makes a special contribution to the development of the square, with its restaurants, special menu, and high-level events. I am sure that this synergy will make Tbilisi an even more attractive destination for travelers.”

One of the main symbols of Tbilisi’s architectural landscape, Radisson Blu Iveria is a 5-star hotel located in the center of the capital, which includes 236 guest rooms, 3 restaurants, and a spa center. The hotel is under the management of “Silk Hospitality.”

Today, “Silk Hospitality” includes about 20 hospitality facilities, including four hotels of international and local brands in Tbilisi, Batumi, and Kakheti.
