The protest rally has been held on Rustaveli Avenue for the past two days, with protesters demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili. They say they believe the government is responsible for the death of Lekso Lashkarava, a TV Pirveli cameraman.
Representatives of organized violent groups attacked Lekso when he was performing his professional duties. He suffered multiple injuries, had his facial bones crushed, and underwent surgery.
