“I would like to start with describing the situation in the region. There is an unprecedented challenge and crisis on the European continent. The war in Ukraine is a big challenge for all of us.” said the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili.
He noted that the war had a great impact on global politics as a whole, adding that the whole world is facing a major challenge not seen since World War II.
“This is the most difficult challenge, which needs very wise management, and we have built our policy accordingly. We have implemented the right policy from the very first days and we are implementing this right policy. I have said many times, and the common spirit of our team members is that our main task should be to protect the national interests of our country,” stated Garibashvili.
He also addressed the Ukrainian people and wished them peace.
