Due to the deteriorating epidemiological situation, the Interagency Coordination Council decided that new regulations will enter into force in the country from August 10.

From August 10, in open spaces where more than 5 people are gathered, wearing a face mask is mandatory. Violations will incur a fine of 20 GEL.

It is mandatory to wear a face mask indoors, on public transport, and in crowded gathering places, at bus stops, and in markets.

Nightclubs, both open and closed, are prohibited, and the implementation of these regulations will be strictly controlled. Restaurants cannot work in the period from 00:00-05:00.

Holding wedding and funerals, and such events, is forbidden. Facilities will be fined for the first time to the amount of 10 thousand GEL, and in case of repeated actions, these facilities will be closed.
