The National Bank of Georgia has started selling coins from the “Kings of Georgia” series on the themes of David the Builder and Queen Tamar.
The sketches for David and Tamar coins were selected through an open competition and were prepared by Nita Gongadze. The coins were minted in the Lithuanian Mint. The price of silver coins is 110 GEL, gold coins – 1500 GEL.
The sale of David’s gold coin will begin on November 16, 2021, at 10:00 p.m.
The sale of the David silver coin will begin on November 22, 2021, at 10:00 p.m.
The sale of the Tamar gold coin will start on December 3, 2021, from 10:00 AM.
The sale of the Tamar silver coin will start on December 8, 2021, at 10:00 AM.
One customer can buy no more than one gold and one silver coin. Coins can be purchased only through the online store of the Money Museum of the National Bank of Georgia – www.MoneyMuseum.nbg.gov.ge
