Michael Roth, Chairman of the German Bundestag’s Foreign Affairs Committee, is visiting Georgia.
“Finally back in town. Tbilisi – the true capital of Europe,” Roth wrote on social media.
Earlier, Roth announced on social media that this visit to Georgia would be a farewell.
“I’m looking forward to my farewell trip to Georgia next week. I’d like to support all committed Europeans, freedom fighters and say goodbye to my friends as a German politician. Even though my parliamentary mandate is ending soon, I’ll continue my commitment to a free Georgia in the heart of the EU,” he wrote.
