Giga Parulava, a member of Giorgi Gakharia’s party “For Georgia,” became the chairman of Zugdidi City Council.
25 deputies of the Council took part in the voting. The candidate was also supported by the United National Movement.
The Georgian Dream party did not take part in the vote.
