A man was killed in the village of Chumlaki, located in the Gurjaani Municipality.
Local residents say the fatal shooting occurred late at night and claimed the life of 31-year-old Dimitri Javakhishvili. They believe the incident may have stemmed from an old conflict and was likely an act of revenge.
The shooting took place in the center of the village, where Javakhishvili was shot multiple times. Another young man was also injured during the incident. Medical staff says he received the necessary treatment and has since been discharged from the hospital.
The case is currently under investigation.
