MacShaurma Opens a New Factory and Branches

McShaurma, one of the most popular fast-food restaurant chains in Georgia, is expanding. The company plans to open a factory with an investment of 30 million GEL and four new large restaurants with an investment of 20 million GEL. The factory will be opened adjacent to the existing farm in Natakhtari. The director of the company, Ramaz Kharebava, speaking in “Business Morning”, noted that the opening of a new factory will help the company to supply the restaurant chain with its raw materials.

“The new enterprise will be opened in 2024 in Natakhtar, adjacent to our farm. As you know, we produce the “Makshaurma” product with our raw materials, which we bring to our farm. Currently, the operating enterprise supplies only 4 restaurants, however, after the implementation of the new project of the enterprise, we will be able to fully supply our restaurants with our raw materials. The new enterprise will be located on 4 hectares and will combine both meat processing and bakery production. It will be equipped with completely new appliances and will include refrigerators. We want everything to be ours. In the future, we want to open 21 branches across Georgia, which will not be possible without the enterprise.

Makshaurma is working on new projects with the founder of the consulting company VINOVA, Klaus Schloeffer, who was invited for this purpose. During a visit to “Business Morning”, Klaus Schloefer notes that “McShaurma” is growing fast, which is associated with certain risks, which can be avoided in the case of a well-organized supply chain.

Along with the new enterprise and branches, McShaurma also plans to offer updated products to customers.

The company appeared on the Georgian market in 2009. At this stage, seven branches have already been opened, five in Tbilisi and the other two in Batumi. In total, 350 people are employed. After the addition of the new enterprise and restaurants, it will be possible to employ up to 1000 people in the network.
