On October 19-22, the Lopota Spa Resort is hosting the popular tennis tournament LOPOTA CUP 2023. The tournament was established years ago by the initiative of Lopota’s founder, Goga Maisuradze, and was held annually. After a few years of hiatus, in 2022, Lopota hosted the tournament on new, professionally equipped tennis courts. LOPOTA CUP 2023 has the largest prize pool among amateur tournaments – 30,000 GEL. The tournament is held in both singles and doubles, for both women and men. The games are played using the Olympic system – 2 full sets and a super tiebreak. The general sponsors of the LOPOTA CUP 2023 tournament are VR Holding and Sarajishvili. Sponsors of the tournament include Water Bakuriani, Porsche Center Tbilisi, World Class Georgia, and Chateau Buera.
