Georgia’s Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili met with Antonella Bassani, Vice President of the World Bank for Europe and Central Asia, during the IMF and World Bank Spring Meetings to reinforce Georgia’s strong partnership with the institution.
The discussion centered on Georgia’s macroeconomic performance, ongoing reforms, and current and upcoming investment projects.
Khutsishvili expressed gratitude for the World Bank’s sustained support. “We appreciate the World Bank’s contribution to Georgia’s development and its ongoing cooperation in financing our priority sectors,” he said.
Also present at the meeting were Rolande Pryce, World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus, Deputy Finance Ministers Giorgi Kakauridze and Ekaterine Guntsadze, and Deputy Minister of Economy Vakhtang Tsintsadze.
