LAG Tskaltubo Hosts Christmas Fair Organized by PIN & Supported by EU & Czech Development Agency

On December 26, PIN, with the support of the European Union, within the project LAG Tskaltubo, held a Christmas Fair in Tskaltubo Main Square.

Representatives of the Embassy of the Czech Republic, Ministry of Agriculture of Georgia, regional and municipal government, ENPARD partner organizations and other interested parties attended the event.

Moreover, the event was attended by the various successful businesses from Georgia who had the opportunity to learn more about local Tskaltubo production and interact with interesting businesses to build future cooperation.

Visitors to the Christmas Fair had the opportunity to discover products and services produced by LAG Tskaltubo project beneficiaries and taste and buy ecologically clean, interesting products of local production.

The Christmas fair was organized under the project “Local Action Group Tskaltubo” supported by the European Union under its ENPARD program and the Czech Development Agency. By introducing the European LEADER approach in the Tskaltubo municipality, the project will contribute to the reduction of poverty and will promote participatory mechanisms in local decision-making processes. The business and social initiatives supported by small grants will become positive models to follow, that can bring innovations to remote areas and improve the quality of life of its residents.
