Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, in his annual address to Parliament, stated that Georgia is prepared to restore its strategic partnership with the United States through a concrete roadmap that would benefit both countries.
Highlighting recent diplomatic developments, Kobakhidze emphasized the appointment of Georgia’s ambassador to the US as a key step toward rebuilding ties. “Our relations with the United States are a top priority,” he said. “We have already made a public statement expressing our readiness to restore the strategic partnership through a detailed roadmap. We are now waiting for reciprocal steps. We believe these recent developments, particularly at the embassy level, will support a full reset in our relations.”
