GD Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met with US Senator Steve Daines, a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, to discuss bilateral relations and the political situation in Georgia, reads a statement from the Government Administration.
During the meeting, Kobakhidze reaffirmed the Georgian government’s readiness to “reset” relations with the United States and renew the strategic partnership through a concrete roadmap aimed at delivering tangible benefits to both nations.
Talks also covered Georgia’s role in ensuring regional peace and stability, as well as its potential as a key transit hub. Kobakhidze emphasized Georgia’s strategic location and access to multimillion-strong markets as valuable assets for international partners.
Kobakhidze underscored the government’s commitment to political stability in the country. Also present at the meeting were GD First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Levan Davitashvili, GD Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili, and GD Head of the Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani.
