Georgian Showroom in Dubai

The Georgian Fashion and Culture Days showroom will open in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on December 25 at the Indigo Downtown Dubai Hotel. Georgian brands will present their products to business visitors, tourists and investors there.

The showroom was organized by the consulting company PLATFORM with the support of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia. The project is aimed at promoting the Georgian brands and support their entry to the Dubai market.

The foremost goal of PLATFORM is to introduce Georgian National Heritage to the United Arab Emirates – Dubai, to be followed in stages by many other countries. Dubai, a synthesis of Asian and European cultures, is one of the most visible centers of the fusion of modern subcultures, and is the Mecca of the world fashion industry for any interested visitor.

Changes in the history of the development of modern world fashion have significantly increased interest in the history of Georgian fashion. The history of Georgian garments dates back centuries. We see it in the ancient paintings of architectural monuments, where historical characters present themselves in astonishingly modern and topical clothing. The right passion and right synthesis formed the basis of arranging the upcoming showroom in the UAE.

From December 25, the showroom will host the fashion house of “Samoseli Pirveli”, which will present to the Dubai market and visitors modern costumes created in the traditional Georgian spirit, “Kebzar” jewelry house, creating crafts based on an ancient Georgian tradition, and “Saini” – porcelain tableware decorated with unique ornaments based on the Georgian alphabet, in addition to interior and exterior items and souvenirs.

These brands will have an opportunity to present their products to an audience in one of the busiest areas of Dubai made up of businesspersons and international visitors. They will also have a chance to reach an agreement with potential buyers and investors. In the future, the showroom will allocate a space to products of other Georgian brands, whether it will be wine, textiles, water or delicate products.

Consulting group PLATFORM and its partners in Dubai offer space for Georgian companies in the hotel showroom, marketing activities to raise awareness of the companies, collaboration in various international projects in Dubai, individual business meetings, and consulting support for the market expansion process.

The project partner is Indigo Hotel, which is a member of the IHG HOTELS & RESORTS group hotel chain. It is the first art boutique hotel in Dubai. Partnership with Indigo will open many other opportunities for Georgian brands, about which the authors of the project will introduce themselves to the visitors in Dubai.

In addition, showroom guests will have access to Georgian Culture Days and Georgian Corner spaces and events in Dubai. As part of the opening of the showroom, business meetings, reception events and special evenings are planned. In addition, PLATFORM, together with Indigo, provides 1 year of showroom organization, which means that at any time, Georgian brands will have the opportunity to show their products to the Dubai market.
