Georgia Reports 6847 New Cases, 36 Deaths

Coronavirus: Georgia Reports 3670 New Cases of Coronavirus, 38 Deaths

6847 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in Georgia, 36 people have died, and 9003 people have recovered.

A total of 1,612,319 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Georgia since February 2020, of which 1,513,164 have recovered and 16,199 have died.

The newly confirmed cases are divided by region as follows:

2,759 cases were confirmed in Tbilisi, Adjara – 362, Imereti – 1 226, Kvemo Kartli – 286, Shida Kartli – 446, Guria – 321, Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti – 506, Kakheti – 542, Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 174, Samtskhe-Javakheti – 140, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 85.

2,820,546 people have been fully vaccinated so far.

On February 28, 2465 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Georgia, 12,840 patients recovered and 25 died.
