Georgia Reports 260 New Cases of Coronavirus, 15 Deaths

Georgia Reports 260 New Cases of Coronavirus, 15 Deaths

Georgia has reported 260 coronavirus cases, 834 recoveries, and 15 deaths on Monday, the official figures show.

11,059 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours across the country.

The testing revealed that Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 166 Covid-19 cases, followed by the Adjara region with 18 cases and the Imereti region with 17 cases.

The daily test-positivity rate stands at 2,35%, while it was 2,45% in the past 14 days.

The total number of confirmed cases has reached 359,141, among them, 345,582 people recovered and 5,175 died.

There are 8,384 active cases of infection in the country.

Currently, of 683 critical patients, 178 require mechanical ventilation.

234,410 people got the coronavirus vaccine so far.
