Georgia Records 2470 New Cases, 46 Deaths

2470 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in Georgia, 46 people have died, 2243 people have recovered.

The newly confirmed cases are divided by region as follows:

705 cases were confirmed in Tbilisi, Adjara – 149, Imereti – 492, Kvemo Kartli – 181, Shida Kartli – 161, Guria – 48, Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti – 270, Kakheti – 319, Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 63, Samtskhe-Javakheti – 60, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 22.

A total of 598,396 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Georgia since February 2020, of which 565,773 have recovered and 8621 have died.

As of September 21, a total of 1,671,295 vaccinations had been administered.

952,219 people are vaccinated with at least 1 dose – 33.3% of the adult population.

719,076 people are fully vaccinated – 25.2% of the adult population.
On September 20, 15,096 people got vaccinated.
