On Feburary 23, Georgia celebrates Cadets Rememberance Day.
“We pay tribute to the memory of the cadets, heroes fallen for Georgia’s freedom,” stated Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili.
“They paid the ultimate price and sacrificed their own lives for the homeland, setting an undying example for generations to come.
“The fight for Georgia’s independence, which they started, continues. The country’s reunification, the strengthening of territorial integrity and sovereignty, and Georgia’s return to the common European family remain the main concern and task for all of us.
“Together with our society, I honor the eternal memory of the cadets, and I wish peace, unity, and development to our homeland.”
