“We, diplomats, had a meeting yesterday at the MIA, where we reaffirmed our strong disappointment with the breakdown of constitutional order and massive violations of human rights on July 5 in Tbilisi,” French Ambassador to Georgia Diégo Colas wrote on social media, responding to developments at the violent anti-pride rally.
“Instead of divisive words, we called on the government to recommit to protect all, including minorities, LGBT+, and press,” the French diplomat wrote.
