Moldovan carrier Flyone has launched direct flights between Chisinau and Batumi.
The maiden flight, operated with an Airbus A320, landed at Batumi International Airport, managed by TAV Georgia, where passengers were welcomed with a symbolic reception.
The first flight carried 182 passengers from the Moldovan capital, while 161 passengers traveled on the return leg to Chisinau.
Flyone will operate the Chisinau–Batumi route three times a week during the summer navigation season. Flights currently run on Mondays and Thursdays, with a Wednesday frequency to be added from 14 July.
