The fire at Eliava market was extinguished. The fire broke out in one of the warehouses of the shopping center. About 1000-1500 square meters were burnt.
“Fire-rescue teams appeared on the spot just in time. The fire was localized soon after, which prevented the spread of the fire. We have not received reports of victims. All relevant services are on the spot and the causes are being investigated,” said Otar Kereselidze, the head of the Tbilisi Main Division of the Emergency Management Service.
