The Georgian national basketball team on Sunday defeated Turkey 88:83 in the 41st edition of the EuroBasket championship organized by FIBA Europe.
Georgia is co-hosting the major basketball event for the first time, alongside Italy, Germany, and the Czech Republic.
Currently, the Georgian national team is in third position, while Turkey is in second.
The Georgian national team will hold a match against Bulgaria on September 6.
