The Hungarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union introduced a 15th sanctions package against Russia, addressing its aggression in Ukraine.
The new measures offer an interesting addition to the already existing sanctions list by targeting individuals and establishments in Russia and other countries allowing Russia’s military and technology-related advancements, by imposing export restrictions.
Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Commission, approved the move, reiterating the EU’s and G7’s dedication to holding pressure on the Kremlin.
