Employees in Germany Will Retain their Social Status

According to the Ministry of Health, Georgian citizens who participate in the legal employment program in Germany and at the same time have the status of socially vulnerable, will retain this status if they travel to Germany.

“Citizens of Georgia who will travel to Germany within the framework of the legal employment program and who have the status of socially vulnerable, will not lose this status. Participating in a legal employment program in Germany is not a grounds for either suspending that status or verifying family scores. We would like to remind you that Georgian citizens will be able to work legally in Germany from April 1,” the statement reads.

It should be noted that at this time, up to 95 thousand applicants are registered on the employment site.
