Embassy of Georgia to Republic of Austria Spreads Information for Georgians

For the attention of Georgian citizens, reports the Embassy of Georgia to the Republic of Austria.

Third-country nationals, including Georgian citizens who meet the general requirements for entry and stay in the Republic of Austria, will be able to visit the Republic of Austria not only in case of emergency but also for other purposes of travel.

This relief will benefit only those citizens who meet the so-called 3G (Getestet, Geimpft, Genesen) rule requirements.

The so-called Rule 3G includes proof of vaccination or a certificate of coronavirus recovery or testing.

A citizen of Georgia must submit a current PCR test (done within the last 72 hours) or an antigen test (last 48 hours) at the border to undergo a 10-day mandatory quarantine/self-isolation, which can be reduced with 5 days by submitting a negative covid test.

Citizens from the age of 12 are required to submit a PCR and an antigen test.

For detailed information on the regulations in force in the country visit the webpage.
