On March 6, at 18:00, at the International University of Management and Communication “Alterbridge”, a meeting will take place with the Deputy Ambassador of Italy, Nicola Iorio.
The invited guest will speak on the topic “The role of communication in diplomacy”. Within the framework of the meeting, he will review how important it is to plan the right communication strategy for conducting diplomatic relations and the challenges in intercultural communication.
Nicola Iorio worked at various times in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Relations of Italy; was Director of Political Affairs and Security in the Office of Disarmament Policy and Non-Proliferation; Head of the NATO Partnership and NATO-EU Cooperation Department in the “NATO, Political-Military and Strategic Affairs” Department.
Since 2019, he has been the Deputy Ambassador of Italy to Georgia.
Students from various universities are expected to attend the meeting.
