Today, at Parliament, the opposition MP Khatia Dekanoidze addressed the members of the parliamentary majority stating “the opposition is accused of Georgia’s failure to get the candidate status, but I can tell everyone that you are the most anti-Western force that Georgia has ever had in power.”
She pointed out to the majority that they are people who went against their own citizens, that is 85% of Georgian citizens and more, adding they are the first Government to openly oppose the country’s strategic allies.
“You are the first Government that did not take part in “Guard 23.” NATO exercises. Ask why Georgia did not take part in these exercises for the first time and why was it removed from the list. When you talk about the obligations of the opposition, or when you talk specifically about your foreign policy, I think you should talk with facts,” Dekanoidze stated.
