Coronavirus: Georgia Reports 537 New Cases, 34 Deaths

Coronavirus: Georgia Reports 537 New Cases, 34 Deaths

Georgia reported 537 coronavirus cases, 494 recoveries, and 34 deaths on Friday, reports the Press Service of the Georgian government.

5,265 tests have been conducted across the country due to the holiday, including 1945 rapid tests and 3320 PCR tests.

Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 290 COVID-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Adjara region with 47 cases and the Imereti region with 44 cases.

Currently, 9085 individuals remain infected with COVID-19 in the country.

The total number of cases now stands at 236 028, among them 224 189 people recovered and 2 728 died.
