European Council President Makes New Proposal to Georgian Political Parties

“The European Council decided to recognize the European perspective of Georgia and is ready to grant candidate status once the outstanding priorities are addressed,” Charles Michel, President of the European Council wrote on Twitter.

He congratulated the Georgian people on this historic moment.

“The EUCO decided to recognize the European perspective of Georgia and is ready to grant candidate status once the outstanding priorities are addressed. Congratulations to the Georgian people.

A historic moment in EU-Georgia relations: Georgia’s future lies within the EU,” wrote him on Twitter.

European Council grants Ukraine, and Moldova EU candidate status.
