The election administration canceled the registration of the remaining candidates presented by the party list of the political unions – Coalition for Change Gvaramia Melia Girchi Droa, Unity-National Movement and Strong Georgia-Lelo, for the People, for Freedom, the Central Election Commission announced.
As mentioned in their statement, the decision was made by the CEC based on the address of the mentioned parties in accordance with the legislation.
“The decrees and letters of the Chairman of the Central Committee on the cancellation of party lists will be sent to the relevant political unions”, the statement said.
The members of Unity-National Movement, Giorgi Vashadze and the members of Coalition for Change and Strong Georgia have applied to Parliament with a request to terminate their mandates.
