Batumi Int’l Art-House Film Festival: dates, schedule, details

The Batumi International Art-House Film Festival (BIAFF), an annual cinematic event in Georgia, offers filmmakers a platform to present less commercially savvy and rather unconventional pieces.

Film screenings will take place at Europe Square and Cavea Grand Mall, with 30 feature films and 25 short films participating from over 25 countries.

Highlights of BIAFF’s 2024 Schedule Include:

October 13, 2024: Screenings of films in competition.

October 14-18: Masterclasses and Q&A sessions with filmmakers.

October 19: The awards ceremony for films in categories like Best Feature Film, Best Director, Best Documentary, and more.

The festival also consists of retrospectives and theme-based film screenings, usually exploring topics such as social and political issues, marking it as an important event for international arthouse cinema.
